Herforder Brewery

“Quality trumps profit!“ Guided by this company motto, the founder Georg Uekermann began his work about 130 years ago. Together with his brother, Gustav Uekermann, he founded the brewery “Felsenkeller” in 1878. In 2006, the brewery was renamed Herforder Brewery and acquired by the Warsteiner Group a year later. But even after its integration into the Warsteiner Group, Uekermann’s family tradition is alive and well in Herford, where a great Westphalian beer is brewed for a loyal regional market.
